Progesterone  Problem

  I am expecting our second child and am having some trouble with my progesterone levels.  With our first child, I started preterm labor at thirty-four weeks, but with medication, bed rest, and prayer, Kaylene was born on time.  At nine weeks, my progesterone level was nine (normal is above twenty).  Are there others who have experienced this?  Is there anything other than medication that helps?  Diet, etc?  I am on progesterone. Are there long-term health effects for me or baby to be concerned about?  Any information would be appreciated as well as the experiences of other women.  Thanks.    –Judy Weaver

Progesterone Solution

    I too struggled with low progesterone.  When first married my OB/GYN told me that my progesterone was so low that I would never be able to conceive unless she put me on synthetic progesterone.  I refused because of the health risk.  God miraculously intervened and two weeks later I conceived and later delivered our first child.   Then I had a miscarriage, another baby, another miscarriage, and another baby.  Then for six years I was unable to conceive at all.  Then I read a book by Dr. John Lee. MD “What Your Doctor May Not Tell You about Pre-Menopause”.  The information in this book changed my life.  I learned that due to growth hormones (estrogen) given to meat animals and dairy cows, most of us have too much estrogen in our systems and not enough progesterone to balance the higher levels of estrogen.  This can cause many health problems.  Dr Lee recommends the use of natural progesterone cream that you rub on your skin.  It is derived from the wild yam.  At the back of the book he list reputable companies that distribute progesterone cream.  Dr. Lee warns that there are many progesterone creams on the market and many of them simply do not have enough progesterone in them to be effective.

    I can verify this as I know several women who were using progesterone cream who said it really didn’t help much.  However, I contacted one of the companies listed at the back of Dr. Lee’s book and ordered some progesterone cream.  After three months I noticed marked relief from my PMS symptoms—irritability, breast tenderness, depression, difficulty concentrating, and insomnia.  My children say I am much nicer now.  I feel much more calm and in control of myself.   I should add that my insomnia was so bad that for two weeks of the month I could only get four hours of sleep a night.  After three months on the progesterone cream, I began sleeping like a log—what a relief?  And after being on the cream for one year I was able to conceive after six and a half years of infertility.   I’m sorry to say I had a miscarriage at eleven weeks, but it was not due to low progesterone. 

I hope this will help someone who is struggling with insomnia or any other health problems related to low progesterone.  The name of the progesterone cream I use is the Original Happy PMS.

This is a Christian company and they have good products and good service.  Some of the other benefits of using Natural Progesterone are prevention of fibrocystic breasts, breast cancer, osteoporosis, heart disease, strokes, mood swings, and hot flashes.   It also helps with skin problems including acne and psoriasis.  Remember not all progesterone creams are effective.  Use a reputable one.

P. S. A. whole house humidifier really helps with static!  We had a woodstove for seven years and a coal stove of one year.

Greetings again HM Enterprises.  I received my Thyroplex and Pantothenic Acid yesterday!  I am so thankful that I was lead to your   website to ask questions - I just wasn't at peace trying the Prempro.  I was alarmed over my Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone being so high. Almost wondered if it was somebody elses results by accident., -  But a closer look into myself, I realized I had every symptom you asked about.  I always ignored info on diabetes because It didn't run in my family.  I took notice when my results pointed to insulin resistance!  I pondered my diet and my gosh, it was 99% junk food (snacks, sweets and salty stuff).  I was very frustrated because I was always counting and restricting my calories,  and I have a very active job, so I always was hungry, but grazed all day, and wondered why I was slowly growing a little spare tire.  I have worn size 2-4 jeans and slacks for years, but I could now barely inch my gut in to fasten them, but the leg and but seemed to remain the same (for now).  So:  After talking with you last Saturday, I truly took action with my diet.  Oatmeal, rye bred and fruit tasted so good.  I hadn't had any for years!  In 8 days, I feel 100% better in everyway.  My hope is to get my whole body back into the balance it was intended to be, and gradually go off my 2 medications  (with your help) and a desire for change, I am very hopeful!  Thank You and God Bless all of you.                                                                                     T. This is a remarkable product and I’m thankful to have the opportunity to even try it   I just wish it had been

around when I was 11 yrs old.  I very much believe in this product and would recommend that women who have severe cramping and other PMS symptoms try this cream.  It’s simple to use and I have had no side effects since I started using it.  With using this cream I no longer have lower back pain, I’m not moody, my fibrocysts are gone and there is no cramping at all.  I believe it’s what all women have been waiting for all these years.
